I'm getting too old for this.

A while ago, raggedhalo made an LJ post which opened with the words "As I get older, I find I have to listen to my body more". How I laughed - after all, as Joe is only about 12, what his body is probably telling him is that it's about time he started shaving.
Being as I'm a little older than Joe*, I find myself having to listen to my body more as well. And what it's saying this morning is: "David, if you don't stop dancing like that in those heavy boots, you're going to do yourself a mischief and no mistake."
