Soon it will be Xmas...

Due to feeling under the weather, puddingcat won't be coming to visit me this weekend. This is bad, as I don't get to hang out with my bird. However, it gives me a chance to go looking for an Xmas present for her in traditional male 'OgodogodogodogodwhatdoIbuywhatdoIbuy' fashion. That's the question for the day; if you were my girlfriend, what would you want for Christmas? Except for better taste in men, obviously.

In other news the heating element in my shower died on Saturday last and the plumber won't be coming to fix it before tomorrow, meaning that I've only had cold showers for a week. I don't know which sadistic Victorian schoolmaster came up with the idea that regular cold showers are good for you and character building, but I can speak from personal experience when I say that they were lying. Instead, as I shiveringly try and coax my gonads back from whatever distant recess of my body they've retreated to, I curse the icy water - after all, anything that is so unpleaant can't possibly be good for me and I rather think that I have enough character already so why would I want to build more?
