We should have seen this Michael Jackson trouble coming...

Anyone who played his video game in the late 1980's should have had a chilling presentment...

On that note I'm sure that based on some of the womenfolk on my friends list, posting this link could well lead to some badly traumatised lonely teenagers in the future.

The thing about the "Break up for any reason you want" is that you can dump somebody for sending their space pigs to invade the moon and they have to then write back to you and beg you to be taken back.

You can take these relationships to a whole new surreal level.

Thinking about it are we sure this isn't just a load of comedy stuff? :)

But yeah, this is not quite as good as the crush meme that went around LJ a while back but it is a damn good money making plan.

Ir reminds me also of the service offered by somebody on the internet to arrange a relationship with anybody of your choice. You pay them stackloads and they do such things as find out all her interests, likes, dislikes, etc. and then arrange for a "chance meeting" between the two of you. Get you on adjacent seats on an aeroplane or that kind of thing.

I can't find the site at the moment unfortunately but that looked like a really fun place to work for. :)

Sounds like something which should have been in "The Club of Queer Trades".

Im convinced this is who dave is really working for anyway.

Yes, I remember seeing the 'chance meeting' organisers as well. There was also an organisation in germany which arranged fake muggings so you could 'rescue' your ideal girl from the bad guys. It got shut down and a good thing too.

What this is all symptomatic of is that there is a large population demographic of men who lack the nerve to just go up and say 'Hello'. I made a friends-only post the other day which touched on how confidence is sexy, and these are all services for men who lack confidence and thus don't get any. Seems it's a growth market.
