We should have seen this Michael Jackson trouble coming...

Anyone who played his video game in the late 1980's should have had a chilling presentment...

On that note I'm sure that based on some of the womenfolk on my friends list, posting this link could well lead to some badly traumatised lonely teenagers in the future.

Obscure as it is...I know that I know it! Argh!
*twitch*

I will deduce a series of clues, each more fiendish than the next, until...ah fuck it, do you wanna know or what?

Actually, a series of clues sounds rather jolly.

It should be said in a french accent.

Christopher Lambert? Is there a Highlander connection?

[identity profile] godzuki.livejournal.com 2004-03-15 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
Not even remotely.

There is a news connection however.

A French accent and the news?
I'm going to kick myself when I find out.
Or kick you, if I have any sense.

I can't see anything in the news today that might have led you to it.
Graaagh!

Aha you forget my neural pathways are scrambled by years of bad kung-fu movies, it has no relation to anything said or that happened today.

Hmm...ok its got something to do with Chris Morris.

[identity profile] davywavy.livejournal.com 2004-03-15 12:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm assuming it has to be a film or TV show, because I know I've seen it.
Did we watch it in Manchester?

[identity profile] godzuki.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
This is too obscure to be fair, so ill tell you, its from Chris Morris' show The Day Today, where they used a french philosopher to comment on the days news.

LIVEROT: An old man stands naked in front of a mirror eating soup. He is a fool.

MORRIS: Jacques 'Jacques' Liverot. A brilliant man, and a surprisingly nice one too. Now, it's easy to tell if somebody's dead. But how can you tell if you're dead? Some people have lived to tell the tale. In a short film we've made.

I didn't know that, as I never watched the day today.

So why the hell do I think I know it?
This is now really going to bug me.
