Handy hint of the day.
When creating a Follower of Set, read the FoS clanbook.
Can you find the phrase "As the Followers of Set acheive their goals by subtle manipulation or supplying needs that people don't even realise they have - and much of this strategy relies upon other people trusting them - the clan makes sure to follow an active plan of only embracing morons, fucked up junkies, petty criminals, prostitutes, and dangerous lunatics; these are obviously the sort of people that suspicious members of other clans are going to trust instantly."
You can't find it?
That's because it doesn't say it.
Comprende?
Good.

Re:
Sigh.
I loved Iscariots example: "We Followers of Set dress up in tutus, cover ourselves in marmalade and sing "Agadoo" in religious rituals."
20 minutes later: "Iscariot *told* me that you setites did perform religious rituals so I know IC now."
Sigh.

I've noticed that.
People do it with more than Setites. I remember once Bridget ended up trying to explain the world to a newly embraced char (actually - she's done that more than once.)
Apparently everything she said was utterly convincing until she started explaining the horrible vampiric werewolves created by lupined biting kindred which could only be repelled by bleach.
Sounds totally credible to me! I mean - when did you last see an evil vampiric lupine in your toilet?
*sighs*
Apparently it wasn't believable, although the whole vampire, clan, blood bond, discipline thing just made sense straight off. My 'fairies are evil but can be repulsed by some kind of herb' also went down badly...

I recently bought "Inaccurate Tremere Lore" as one of my lores:)

So far we have...
Lupine lore: - dangerous 9 foot tall furry things
- created by being bitten by a werewolf
- only come up on the full moon - otherwise you're safe
- repelled by bleach, garlic, and silver.
- have a strange sexual fascination with female vamps
- have some odd fixations with insects
- like to kill people with magic in their auras.
...and there are a lot like that. I think my lupine lore is the best however...

Damn them all!!!!

I feel she has a nicely eclectic mix of lores..
