Nazi Werewolves on Acid
Feb. 3rd, 2003 11:44 amAnd if you want to know about that title, just be glad you weren’t at Greenwich on Saturday night…
And so another weekend passes, this one with my dear other sister in tow- she dropped round on Saturday morning, by car (unusual, as she usually announces her presence by crawling out of the television set) as she used to live in the flat until about 4-5 years ago and decided, on a whim, that she’d come & collect all the things she left behind – to wit; four pans and a corkboard.
I have to say I’m left mystified by this. Sister lives in Oxfordshire, and so must have driven for hour, with the commensurate costs in fuel and running to get to the flat to get stuff that probably wouldn’t have cost more than £15 to buy new – plus, of course, she’s a Director of the Post Office, and earns more money in an afternoon than I see in a year.
People are odd sometimes, aren’t they?
Overall, wasn’t in the mood on Saturday so just helped out generally. I just felt completely drained of inspiration of motivation – you’d think I was at work or something, so worn down did I feel. And on Sunday I did little enough except watch Oceans Eleven, which was okay, I guess, but I’m glad I didn’t pay to see it at the cinema.
Work today, and then gym. Go me.
