As has
puddingcat, I have to recommend "Two Weeks Notice". I'm not usually one for romantic comedies, but hugh Grant swanning about as the arrogant, insenstive, and hopelessly indecisive Mr. Wade in this film had her laughing like a drain, and me rather flattered that they'd got Hugh Grant to play me.
Seroiusly; the resemblance in terms of personality is astonishing. Go and watch it to see what I mean. Aside from the fact he's hugely rich and I'm not, the character is me. rightening, huh?
Other than that a jolly few days, aside from the stinking cold that had me whining about being ill yesterday and skiving off work ("I figure I can stay at home and feel crap, or travel for two hours to feel crap in the office, so I'm staying at home" is an effective sicky call-in to one's boss).
