I was somewhat astounded to read in the paper yesterday that Gordon Brown said in a speech that he had 'the character to win the election'. Flabbergasted, so I was. What the Hell was he talking about?

Anyway, in order to investigate, last night I breached protocol somewhat and broke into Number Ten Downing Street, where, on Browns desk, I found this:

Turns out he was telling the truth. He does have a pretty powerful character after all.
