If anyone is really interested, robinbloke, the_mendicant and I shall be off to jillys in Manchester on Saturday 27th of August for a night of drinking, dancing, and outrageous debauchery*.

Then in November, Brother and I plan to go and see muscial combo "The VNV Nation" play their popular brand of syncopated beat percussion in Sheffield. Interested?

^{*Well, Robin and Kate will probably get some debauchery, but the only way I'll see any is if customs finally releases my bulk shipment of Rohypnol.}

The 'other' gig was Rammstein, a few weeks ago. But you preferred to go gliding rather than hang out in a hot room with a bunch of muscly Germans in rubber!

Well, much as the thought of industrial music being tortured by a group of Germans who've taken clothing lessons from reservoir dogs was exceedingly tempting I must say that sailing virtually silently above the ground in ever decreasing circles was great fun :)
