The hot movie news today is that, in the wake of his King Kong remake, Peter Jackson is prepping a remake of classic war film The Dam Busters

After that he'll be doing a sequel to both films which will feature Kong flying a Lancaster bomber, to be titled 'Apes on a Plane'.

Thank you, I'm here all week.

Can we cast the Uruk-Hai as the villains?

Remake the Dam Busters? With only one flying Lancaster in the world? Mr Jackson, your Lord Of The Rings films were great, but I do not want to see your CGI bombers.

He could always just make some scaled models and animate...
Or commission the building of 30 new lok alikes and film all the flight scenes normally.

But CGI might be what we get...

Ridley Scott would like to make a sequel to Gladiator, with Russell Crowe. He says that they will have to find a way to "write around" the fact that Maximus died.

...this is not a joke. :(

That makes me want to do a sequel to do a Prequel to the Book of Genesis.
I think we should be able to put in some good character development for God, maybe also some car chases and a fight with Jet Lee would really cap it all off perfectly.
It has potential...

I don't have my copy with me, but I'll look in the local Cash Converters at lunchtime and see what they have in the £1.99 bin.

And then you have two sequels ready written, not to mention the final coming.

Shopping in Cash Converters is a way of profiting from the misery of others. I really enjoy it.
