Well, it's been an eventful few days on the personal development front. Not only have I decided to adopt [livejournal.com profile] vulgarcriminal as my personal deity, but I also asked [livejournal.com profile] the_mendicant to be my bride*.

I'm very interested in any suggestions that you lot may have of ceremonies which I can adopt into my new religion of "Tiffianity".

*A requested greeted by the loudest hoots of laughter I've heard in a while. However, her nodding and saying "mm-hm" abilities whilst not listening to a word I'm saying have to be seen to be believed.

There should be some sort of ceremonial ranting, I strongly feel.

And mocking of idiots should feature heavily as well.

Ceremonial trumpeting using rolled up copies of the Daily Mail and the use of new psychoactive drugs to overlay a peculiar and twisted version of reality over this one.

Yes. Deification at last.

It's long overdue.

I demand all rituals involve Rupert Murdoch owned corporations + essays on feeding Catholic babies to the hungry.

Shrines of Bono and socialism (see Grim) should be burned on my birthday! Death to equality.

parties thinly disguised as ceremonies...and lots of them.

Vast feasts and the like.

sounds like a proper excuse for 24/7 Baccanalia (not sure how you spell that but I'm sure I can do it).

You could sacrifice kittens to her. And post the bodies. Gurls like that sort of thing, it's romantic.

I resemble that remark!

I have perfect recall of our conversation about your work-based conundrums. I have just perfected the art of nodding and saying hmmmm as if not listening so that the traumatised chap can feel superior about something for once, thereby feeling better about life, even if I didn't solve his problem.

Try praying to your deity and see if she nods and goes hmmm - it may be a universal female thing.

And I haven't turned you down yet - thereby keeping both you and Robin on your toes ;P
