That's as far as we got. I left it.
So they gave the job to someone else in the office with no raise attached at all. It's nice they thought I was worth some money, but just not enough...

I was wracked with doubt this morning as to whether I had made the right call, but then I got a call from *insert other company name here* wondering if I was still looking for a job, so all might end well yet.
