Datamining

I just got an email from the Guardian suggesting that a subscription to that newspaper would make 'the perfect Christmas gift' for a member of my family.

I know people are afraid of digital Big Brother and the power of datamining, but this reassures me that things are not even close to the point of accurate targeting yet.
