Superpowers
Feb. 12th, 2013 10:17 amIf you were designing superpowers around national stereotypes, what would they be? The British could have one called "Stiff uppper lip", which allows them to remain phlegmatic and fearless in the face of terrible dangers, and the Germans could have one called "Alles in ordnung", which would help them quickly find lost or hidden objects, for example.
Whilst I'm expecting the usual round of non-serious answers to this question, I am more interested in serious suggestions. This may or may not be related to that word count I keep posting to FB.

France - impossible to impress (resist mind control) "meh"
Maybe the Welsh could be waterproof and the Luxembourgish could be able to take everyone's money...

Date: 2013-02-12 04:16 pm (UTC)The Italians would have the equivalent power to the Floating Vagabond one of "Look Good at All Times", The Chinese would have a power like Mirror Image called "They All Look the Same To Me Sir", or maybe Inscrutability...I can think of a couple for the Germans too, actually, in terms of national stereotypes, basically how offensive are you allowed to be?
