In interview, Al Jourgensen has said that the lyrics to 'Jesus built my Hotrod' were improvised on the spot whilst stoked up on heroin.

They interview him in the latest issue of 'Rock' magazine; they stoked the singer up on heroin and let him go...

I believe, the 'lyrics' do bear a similarity to the Butthole Surfers' song 'Some Dispute Over T Shirt Sales', which makes sense.

Still a great tune though : )
