Why I love TV

It is often said by the ignorant that the US Cable TV produces the worlds worst-thought-out programmes.
More often than not, that's true. However, I wouldn't want people to think that Europe is entirely blameless when it comes to producing crap of astonishing proportions.

Whilst generally true, US cable networks, like HBO, have been instrumental in creating some awfully good TV shows ... like 'Oz' or '6 Feet Under' or even 'Sex and the City.'
