Can anyone tell me what American Airlines are like?
My usual airlines of choice (BA and Vurgin) don't fly direct to St Louis and so I might have to fly with a lesser airline. Are they any good, or would the extra travel time on BA be rewarded with extra comfort & facilities?

American Airlines make a big song and dance about having extra leg room, and the food seems to be fairly airline standard. I actually like them better than BA. So, yes, worth saving the travel time
