Radio 2 ate my Blog.

Driving into town yesterday, we had the car radio tuned to Radio 2. Fortunately this isn't as embarrasing as it once might have been (Former Strapline: "Radio 2: For when you've outlived your usefulness") as these days they play quite a lot of good and fairly up-to-date stuff on there that doesn't fit in the Braindead chart-only mentality of Radio One (New Strapline: "Radio 2: For when you're desperate to prove you're not that old really").
Pootling along listening to the unfunny comedy lunchtime show, they started jesting about the uncanny resemblance between Angus Young and Wee Jimmy Krankie. I chuckled to myself - why, didn't I make that comparison myself only days ago?.
My amusement then became to bemusement as the presenters' conversation quickly drifted to the way nobody would notice if Leicester vanished and then they moved onto the morality of eating ones friends.
By this stage I saw staring wide eyed at the radio and spluttering through foam-flecked lips "but..but..but..."
So own up; which of you is the Radio 2 resercher out there? or do I just have a hotline to the midday-second-rate-radio-comedy Zeitgeist?
