Pie Captain and the Wade of Tomorrow.
Oct. 5th, 2004 10:26 amAs the title might indicate, I went to the cinema last night with
riksowden, as part of my hosting and entertaining duties as the "3 search for Adventure" tour of Rik,
eddyfate, and
greebotrill called for a few days at Stately Wade Manor.
Quote of the weekend:
Him: "Gosh, you're right, that's a really nice big house, isn't it?"
Me: "That's the stable block."

Date: 2004-10-05 07:12 am (UTC)1) The bonfire field has 200 tons of chipped willow in it, meaning that a bonfire might well be an arror on the basis that roaring conflagrations and large piles of tinder dry wood that you don't want burning tend not to be a good combination.
2) I have no money whatsoever, and jon isn't paying, so we won't be having any fireworks this year.
So...the net result is that a bonfire party this year is unlikely, to say the least.
