cryx -- At the moment? Very little has that effect on me. Possibly the view from the top of the Temple of the Jaguar in Palenque, but it's something that isn't happening much currently.

mooncadet -- There was one over the Palace last time I was in Manchester - a proper, Hammer Horror shrouded-in-cloud one.

rosamicula -- because light bends as it hits the atmosphere, meaning we see long-wavelength blue instead of short-wavelength reds. We see shorter wavelength light (reds, yellows) in the morning and evening when the angle of light from the sun hitting the atmosphere is sharper.

puddingcat -- I didn't pay for it! Someone else did! Thus proving that I am in fact fluffy and bouncy and cuddly.
But yes, the cash would have been a nice alternative.
