Oh, all right.
The new year is coming up. This is traditionally a time where people try and better themselves, and ensure that they live better next year. With this in mind, I'd like to ask you to give me a piece of advice that is specific to me and my life, which you think will help me over the following year. What resolution/s should I make?
Come on, then.
Come on, then.

(Anonymous) 2004-12-21 01:06 pm (UTC)(link)This wasn't related to any post here but rather my experience of Dave over a reasonable period and observation of his interactions with others. There does seem to be a weakness in his arguments of equating the actions of people professing to adhere to an ideology with the goals or meaning of the ideology itself. Something I find as grating as trying to point out certain passages in the new testament to raving hate-filled fanatacist christians and having them look at you like a dog that's been shown a card trick.
In general I find Dave to be an affable enough, mildly amusing right-wing eccentric. The sort of Anti-Tony-Benn.
Quite how answering someone's open post honestly warrants this sort of wankerish reaction is a puzzle.
