Jul. 29th, 2004 11:51 amI'm sitting here, watching SETI@Home run, and waiting for that phrase to burst forth from my PC speakers. Isn't it exciting? Any moment now I could be talking to our new alien masters.
But, to wile away the time, I'm reminded of how Captains Scarlet and Black were kidnapped by the Mysterons and made indestructable. I was wondering: when the alien menace arrives and kidnaps you, what superpower would you like to be given to further their evil plans? Would you like to be indestructable, or perhaps to fly? Reading the minds of others - or simply taking over their brains?
Personally I think I'd choose shooting laser beams from my eyes. I reckon I could really advance the conquest of Earth with that one. What about you?
