Regular readers might have noticed that ukmonty has begun using the third-least-flattering photo of me ever taken as a user icon. Naturally, it's flattering that he wants to be associated with me in all ways and at all time but perhaps a little stalker-y too.
Obviously, I was tempted to start using a photo of him in return, but which one? You may not know it, but Monty has recently grown a beard, which presumably he thinks make him look like Robert de Niro:


However, those who know him well quickly realise that there is another celebrity who he resembles more in looks, temperament and abstinence:



And of course, the fellow is sensible enough not to allow public photos of him with facial fuzz.
So it's up to you, my dear reader to decide - Monty with beard: De Niro or Captain Haddock?
