Sadly, August 25th (the anniverary of the White House burning) is past for this year so my revised version of "The Teddy Bear's Picnic" entitled "Todays's the day the British burned down the White House" will have to wait until next year.
Once again I was astonished to find cynical children who show respect to NOTHING, suddenly clam up and look so serious when the two minutes come up. Three years running- be it Essex, London or now Devon... the next generation get it.
