I went to see VNV Nation in Sheffield last night, and lo, they were very good indeed. Any band which opens their set by surveying the massed Cybergoths and shouting "Glowsticks...UP!" has to have a lot to recommend them.
Plus the quick rendition of the Swedish National Anthem helped.

My parents live in Doncaster so I combined gig and parent-duty.

And I haven't aged anything like as much as their lead singer, and he's still going :)
