"Holmes?" I answered.
"Come quickly, Watson! It's afoot!"
"Good grief, Holmes! What are you talking about? What is it? What is afoot?"
"My cock, Watson. My cock."
I sighed. Holmes had been ordering from the sex toys catalgue again.

It would be a damn sight funnier if they weren't marching 'our boys' off to get turned into mush to satisfy their vainglory.

No matter how badly things go for Tony, he'll get his seat in the Lords, a million a year on the lecture circuit, and the 5 or so houses he's somehow acquired along the way.

Who was it said, "Under every revolutionary lies a Policeman?"

Seems that under every crusading socialist reformer lies a lying warmonger with only his own self aggrandisement and enrichment at heart too. I am shocked.

There was a pertinent comparison in Private Eye of the number of times Tony has apologised publically for 'not our finest hour' of Labour party infighting (about eight, I think), as opposed to the number of times he's publically apologised for the british troops dead in Iraq (none).

You've got to admire the man's brass neck, he must've been a formidable advocate.
