Ming the Merciless, Saucy text messages, and my sinuses dissolving.

Off sick yesterday after a night of boozing with Monty. Actually, I don’t think the alcohol was responsible, as I didn’t drink that much (there was a lady present, and I’ve long since learned that the second best way to ensure ‘no success’ with the ladies is to vomit on them). The problem was that I hadn’t eaten much the day before, and so of course my tummy was empty before I stopped gipping, and so I was throwing up bile & acid – and believe me, when that goes up your nose and your sinuses start to melt, that’s painful .
I didn’t even get any writing done whilst I was off work, due to feeling unwell, and, apart from the fact I got a saucy text message from christ1974 (which was a surprise and no mistake), the day passed with little entertainment.
I have to finish GotB this weekend. Deadline is about 5pm on Monday, so it’s tap-tap-tappity on the keyboard for me all weekend.
Someone suggested to me that I set up Ming the Merciless as an LJ account, to keep a record of life as ruler of the universe. Hmmn, perhaps as a side project it would be quite good fun…

Hmm. Ming the Merciless getting saucy messages from someone who's username reads "Christ". Now there's an idea for - well, something. But imagine what the Bible would have been like if Christ had had a crush on the Emperor of the Universe?

Inhaling vomit is quite often terminal... something to do with stomach acid getting into the lungs. Can't remember the medical term for it though. On another vaguely related note, *drinking* poppers is also terminal (little known fact of the day)
