One of the great things about living in the quaint village of London Towne is that it's full of things to do. The downside is that, as these things are always there, you never bother doing them.
"Tchah!", you idly say. "Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, the V&A, The Science Museum, The Wheel, The Houses of Parliament, the changing of the guard, Harrods, the Hayward, Tate, National, Tate Modern, Tate Britain and National Portrait galleries will all be there next week! I've got plenty of time to go and look at them!" And so of course you never do.

I've been trying to do more cultural stuff lately, such as going to the Michaelangelo and da Vinci exhibitions (no pictures of fish, so I couldn't make the obvious jokes) but there's theatreland too - and there's two shows that I want to see. First up is Spamalot, at which I expect to laugh like a drain, and next is my happy discovery that Don Johnson is to join the cast of Guys and Dolls in January for a time.
I've been watching a lot of 80's Miami Vice as inspiration work for writing Innsmouth Vice for GenCon next year and, frankly, I can't pass up the chance to see an icon of my childhood on stage.

Anyone up for a theatre trip?

if I was in London I would like to go to the theatre, as it is it's a bit of a trek to watch a show.

That was my least favorite museum in London.

I was kinda disappointed by spamalot, to be honest, it was lots of bad rehashing of old jokes and songs crammed into something that didnt really work.

Still, go see it and tell me what you think.

Up for Spamalot and Wicked; if I ever get my arse into gear for the latter.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wicked as well. Perhaps we should talk dates?

I have to push the pram-a-lot

Aye :)

Probably be Feb before I'm free though; unless I do a in-week visit.

I would be up for Spamalot, assuming that it will be possible to get tickets before March, 2026.

Well, I'm utterly and completely skint in the worst way until the new year, so perhaps we ought to look at maybe February? I think the pohone number I have for you is wrong, as whenever I dial it it just beeps at me.

Aw, how come you get to have all this great stuff, and we get art shows involving wooden logs nailed together? Let's trade.

I'd love to go to the theatre with yu, it's just getting to you and then getting to the theater, and then , of course, getting home, that becomes the issue. :(
