I didn't make it to Gencon, which was a shame, but then a huge part of Gencon for me is the larp stuff and that was pretty light on the ground this year. That and the fact that most of the people that I only ever see at Gencon decided not to go as well.
Maybe next year. Have to say, right now, I'd probably consider US Gencon or the Essen games fair in Germany.
LARP seem to have abandoned GenCon, which I'm not surprised by after last year. I've tried talking to GC but I what I get back is a lot of fine-soundin' promises and no action.
