1) The wedding vows do not contain the caveat "Subject to avilability", and I'm the only one who thinks they should.
2) "Macho, macho man" by the Village People will not do for the bride and groom's first dance.
3) The commentary to the WWE Wrestling would not "make a great soundtrack for my love life" ("He's pinned for the three count! He's got to submit!" "My Gohd! I've never seen anything like that before!")

In other, related, news my brother got married on Saturday. Congratulations are in order.

I supose it would be too obvious to ask who was Best Man as the reply would contain your ego references.
Anyway, Dam! thats another preference off the list. Give him my best wishes.

Congratulations to him.

In other news...
Am I going mad, or have you mentioned before now that you're Stevenage based? If so, can you recommend a gym for my beloved husband to use while he's down there on business? The hotel he's in doesn't have one and the Holiday Inn which will have one doesn't open for another month. Muchos Gracias

Staying in Stevenage? My God, sympathy.
Which hotel is he in? There's the LA Fitness which is the one I sometimes use and is slap in the town centre next to the Express, or there's a gym in the civic centre next to the station but I've never used that so can't comment.

He's in the Express - in which case he's probably seen the gym next to it. I'll let him know about the one in the civic centre in case the prices are better there.

He's helping to sort out Stevenage Homes - who apparently need some help. Of course the bad thing about being a consultant for the public sector is that the places you end up going to are generally the ones that REALLY need help... like Stevenage.

Gosh, he'll be within 100 yards of my office.
Whislt there, if he should happen to stumble across a list of engineers working for the council/Stevenage Homes, it's worth booze to me as well you know.

I'll let him know.

If you happen to bump into a tall, handsome man with long auburn hair - he's a very lovely chap and in need of company down in Stevenage.

I make no promises as to when I'm about and/or free, but feel free to tell him to drop me a line.
