I seem to be a loose end this weekend. Is anyone doing anything interesting?

Yes, but I can't imagine you'll want to join the Oxford Pride parade.

I'd have no problem doing so were I in oxford; such events are usually fun!

*grin* I'm hoping it will be :)

Plus the fact that when I've been along to such events I tend to get mistaken for a bear, to the amusement of absolutely everyone but me :)

HAhaa How? You are so not a bear :p

Fancy coming to Dorset? I'm attending the Green Tara festival near Weymouth and meeting the Tibetan Geshe Lama to talk about freelance demonslaying :D

Do you have a link for this? Google appears to be failing me.

Should be quite good, it's camping of course.

It certainly looks interestying in that 'I've never done anything like this before and I should try everything' sort of way, but I'd only really be free on saturday. I'd need to be back in London for about 12 on Sun at the latest, so it'd be a flying 1-day visit if I came down.

I'm sure that'd be just fine, you should still get the idea :) Do you have a tent? I could probably give you a lift from the station to the site - once I work out where the site is, of course.

Tent? Me? The very idea of accomodation without complimentary chocolates and a spa bath brings me out in a rash!

But it will be a very late, drinking-mead-into-the-wee-small-hours-around-a-big-fire-and-drumming sort of affair! And camping is part of the fun.

If I came I might have to sleep outside then - the weather forecast is good. Alternatively, just stay up all night.

I'm being cajoled into going to cambridge for the day, or one or two other things. I'll drop you a line thursday/friday and let you know.

Staying up all night is a firm possibility. Also, I'll have my cloak which you could use, as it is impervious to the cold when coupled with alcohol.

Like a seal, I have a thick layer of blubber to protect me from inclement weather.

Ah, apparently day tickets are only a tenner also, not sure if you saw that but I hadn't until I checked the forum.

It's looking like rain in Weymouth (which doesn't sound fun) on Saturday but I'll let you know if that changes.

Ill be at collectormania in Milton Keynes, where you can pay to touch Leonard Nimoy. However I will not be doing so, just wandering around scaring the children.

Leonard Nimoy, you say?
Sure and this weekend is full of interesting things to potentially go and do.

You'll be celebrating your win in the European elections won't you?

Excerpt from BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8060102.stm)

Wai D: Standing in South West England region. If elected candidates will undertake at their own expense the creation of an internet site where people can express their opinions.
