Erm. Um. Ark. Bugger. Decisions.
Nov. 11th, 2002 04:51 pmWent to see two possible venmues for the Camuk 2003 National today. I went to the doctors as well, but that's less interesting and so I won't talk about it.
venue a) Is great. Atmospheric, with lots of windy staircases and nooks and a private bar and a big ballroom built in 1865 and a complete seperate annexe that we can put plot into and allegedly a ghost. It is also a little small, and if we get too many more than the 200 we got last year, then it'll be too small.
Venue b) is bigger, but is a soulless mid-90s hotel-in-a-can which wasn't helped by the architect having an epileptic fit one afternoon. However, it's got enough room for us to spread out if things expand.
Venue a) is also the cheaper option, believe it or not. Now; do I act upon the assumption that the Cam will do the usual (400 people say "Yes, we're coming!", and then only 200 show up, as has been the case for the last 3 years), or do I assume that this time it will be different and plan ahead?
Gah, decisions.
I'll throw that open to the floor.
