Because she was rude to my sister, part 2
Nov. 18th, 2002 09:51 amSome of you may remember my previous rants about Amy Jenkins, the once media-feted writer who was once shockingly rude to my sister (if you don't, click here for a reminder).
Well, Amy has her latest book in print, and it's shockingly bad. By dint of hard work, however, I've managed to get my review of it - the only review, currently, onto Amazon (it took five tries before I got the sort of semi-literate reviewing style that Amazon like right).
So, as a favour, could all of you who have Amazon accounts please go here and click the button that says you found the review useful? I know that Amy is obsessive about reading her reviews, and it gives me a little twinkle of warmth in my heart to think of the expression on her face when she looks at a slagging-off review and the note telling her that lots of people found it useful.
Many thanks.
