International Women's Day.

Today is, it turns out, International Women's Day. Now, I'm as much of a fan of women - international or not - as anyone and so I suggested that the she-David come to a mutually supportive arrangement. On International Men's Day (November 19th) she lets me get on with men things; drinking heavily, watching films with lots of fast cars and explosions, and sitting round the place in my underwear, and in return on International Women's Day I fully support her doing women's things; the ironing, hoovering and washing up.

She was surprisingly ungrateful when I put this to her this morning. Women, eh? Tsk!
