Castles in the air

riksowden and I went on a guided tour of Kim Jong-il's palace. It was a wonderful art-deco edifice, huge, beautifully decorated and furnished, and far nicer than anything I'd've given him credit for having the taste for. The raspberry pavlova in the cafe was lovely too.
The thing is, as I wandered round the rooms I was thinking to myself "This is going to make a great blog post", and I was actually disappointed when I woke up and discovered it wasn't real.
So I thought I'd post about it anyway.
