Apparently the Queen attended a cabinet meeting yesterday.

The first Monarch to do so since Queen Victoria, which might explain a few of the things which have gone wrong in the intervening 109 years.

Anyway, to my great dismay she didn't lean across the table, point at Nick Clegg, and growl "You're fired".
