I seem to have suddenly become popular...yet another shiney new friend (who, I have no diea who she is...) has taken up residence on my friends list -

Still, thrusting forward, I'm out of the office (and therefore offline) between tomorrow and next Thursday. It's like a holiday - get to go away at soeone elses expense, stay in a free hotel, get free food..huzzah!
Admittedly, this is all going to be in Birmingham, which takes some of the shine off it - and I'll be at a thrilling trade show, which takes even more of the shine - leaving it a bit tarnished to be truthful.
However, the joyful fact is there - no office for me!
All I need now is a less shit job and my life shall be complete.

With any luck I might be able to get into town and see

In other news, we have a new coffee machine in the office.
Also I discover that

puddingcat's chums have invited me to Nottingham this weekend; unexpectedly, I admit, as it didn't occur to me that I would be. So what to do? I'm poor at the moment, so the idea of the train fare doesn't full me with glee, but it'd be nice to see people. On the other hand, I'd been thinking of going to see the Titian exhibition at the National Gallery this weekend.
