My First Shareholders Meeting.
Sep. 17th, 2003 09:41 amThere should be a childrens game with that title, designed to teach kiddies the glorious advantages of the open market. I can just see it now, as little Timmy plays his "Aggressive takeover" card and makes his sister cry...
I went to a Shareholders presentation last night for Earthport, a online payment company (seemingly better than things like Paypal). Notwithstanding any details about the company, I couldn't help but notice that not only was I far the youngest person there who appeared to be an investor, but I was also the only male whose chest measurement was greater than his waistline.
I wonder what this says about people who invest?
