You know that bit about the independent judiciary in your constitution?

Not any more!

On IRC the other day an american asked me for a definition of 'irony'. I suggested that the new Iraqi Constitution (drafted by the US) having a section guaranteeing the rights of women whilst the US has no such thing summed it up pretty well.

their pledge of alleigence is unconstitutional, let alone anything else... i pledge alleigence to the falg of the united states of america, the republic for which it stands, one nation under god, with justice and liberty for all" urm... the constitution states that religion is not a defining factor of an american, and which religion if any is not an issue yet...
