A few weeks ago, [livejournal.com profile] redragdiva observed to me that I really ought to contribute to Uncyclopedia. Claiming that I was much too busy, I demurred.
However, finding myself today with Far Too Much To Do (i.e. I've got so much to do I cannot possibly do it all before my deadline, so I may as well revert to giggling and touching myself like a monkey in the zoo for all the difference worrying about it will make), I decided to take him up on his suggestion.

A fiver says it doesn't last until after the weekend.

You sir are a natural, and Uncyclopedia is your calling.
Plus they don't take stuff down that often unless its really evil or not funny, plus your evenly unpleasent to everyone.

Ah, yes, but you're only allowed to be a satirist if you're left-wing, didn't you know? Someone will edit over it in double-quick time because jokes at the expense of the left just aren't funny.

More likely because it blanked most of the previous article. Which was crap, but nevertheless.

I'll probably rework it at some stage.

Have I committed a Wiki faux pas? I always thgouht the whole Wiki idea was for people to come and add, change or delete as the whim struck them and I wrote in the honest expectation of my words not lasting more than 48 hours as someone did the same to me.
If I've actually inadvertantly done something wrong, I apologise.

Not a deep one, if you have. (The idea is simple, the social structure occasionally byzantine. Welcome to the Internet.)

Fine work sir, I only lament there was only a single verse to the labour Rally Cry. I mean, is a four hour chorus too much to ask? ;)

It would bring a whole new meaning to "reaching out" to constituents.

I'd ask for an encore but I don't think your job would survive ;-)

Bravo!
But I was wondering- why insert some factual stuff (the bit about Prescott) into an otherwise humourous peice. Don't you think it would confuse people?
