One thing that my company does is run an online jobs board, which we use our magazine to make our readers aware of. The idea of this being that people don't really reply to magazine job ads as much as they once did, but we've got a whopping circulation and people do reply to online job ads and so making magazine readers into online browsers is a good idea.

We've recently upped our magazine promotions of the site by putting our own company flyers into the mag. With flyers you need to say something different every time, as otherwise people look and discard as they've seen it before. As such I need a different flyer every month. They don't need to be outrageously funny and original, but they do need to be different.

So I'm looking for ideas I might use in future. The flyers we do are A4, and double sided, usually run in a question and answer format: for example, the questions: "What are you looking at?" over a desaturated picture of a boring office on one side, and "New horizons daily" with a list of current vacancies on the other with the URL is one I've ued before. That sort of thing.
Or wildly different things, I'm not picky. I'll be buying drinks for any I use.
Thoughts?

Serial advertising tends to be popular - a simple concept that you can run into a narrative.

I'd suggest sticking with the boring office/pun idea and expand on it - half eaten rich tea biscuit next to coffee on the desk (tastier jobs), Photocopier with big stack of copies (Waiting for something different?), almost completed solitaire on computer screen (need a bigger challenge?) etc.

Ok, so I'm not much of a copywriter, but there's probably plenty of office humour to be mined.

I rather like that.
I agree on the serial advertising - eventually, I'd like for people to be wondering what the message is going to be this month.

conked out AC unit ("wanting a breath of fresh air"), office clock ("time for a change?") view out of window showing brick wall ("looking for better prospects"). Er

thats the idea ;) as soon as you can turn an ad campaign into the equivalent of the comic strip in the paper you're laughing.
