Because I spend a lot of the time travelling, I tend to read a lot on the train. When I'm doing this, I like to use the ticket for the journey as a bookmark. Not only does this mean I'm less likely to lose my ticket, but it also means that if I pick that book up again years later, I'll find the ticket in it and it'll act as an aide memoire as to what I was doing and where I was going when I first read it. It's rather nice.
Do any of you lot do anything like this?

Date: 2007-08-13 03:20 pm (UTC)So, are you ever going to be free one evening/weekend ("I'll ring you next week, old boy. Definitely this time. Absolutely. Won't slip my mind again." One week later: "I'll ring you next time. Absolutely definitely this time. Promise cross my heart.")?
