Well, I can list off every concert I've been to here, complete with brief critique....
Paula Abdul: Obviously, well produced, well choreographed, well done. But it was really all about the voice and the fact that I was a drooling teen and she was, well, Paula.
The Eagles (1996 Tour): Well played, but left the concert wishing it was a Joe Walsh concert instead. He had the most fun out of any of them on stage, and it was obvious.
Weird Al: Saw him in Akron just a few nights before his parents passed away. Almost as overblown as Paula's show, but a lot more fun. The taped concerts don't do his show any justice at all. Second favorite, easily.
Tesla: Great stage energy and presence, and I saw it with just a couple hundred other people at the House of Blues in Cleveland. Going back next month, most likely. Definitely my favorite concert band.
Nightwish: Awesome show, and not really sure what to make of the post-Tarja lineup. I guess I'll find out in October. (We don't get the new album for another 5 weeks, and the Cleveland show is two weeks after that.)
