Considering the slagging off I've got from here and there over the fact that I just dumped the TOME on the Cam 'without consultation', when I read the post about the National officer elections I couldn't help but be tickled over noticing that changes to the structure are being made...er...without consulting the membership.

Seems that people learn the political necessity of the fait accompli bloody fast when they're in the hot seat *g*

oh there is at least one person who would sod off when what needs to be done is done
and who in the meantime would just DO what needs done - tho that certainly wouldn't be popular :)

but that person currently doesn't have the time to do the job so therefore isn't currently considering standing

oh and we got this fucked up because things weren't done for a few years *shrug*

and openess and fairness yes - but ONCE its all sorted out

hell in my opinion the society should take 3 months out and concentrate everyones energies to dealing with all the stuff for once and for all *shrug* not very likely tho :)
