karohemd for the wonderful present. It's nice to know that someone who isn't me loves me enough to buy me stuff :)
Also, greetings tosnapdragon_dk and weejock who have joined the group of people in my friends list. Like the voices who live in my head, my friends list make pithy comments about my life, but at least they don't order me to 'clean the streets' as often.
In other news, Hurrah for the D-Plan diet! Despite the basic principles of the diet ("Eat Less food. Take more exercise. Duh.") having recieved criticism in the past (borusa and bateleur spring to mind), according to the lard-o-meter in the gym I have shed much lard in the past month or so, without resorting to any method invloving 'sins', 'points', or special milkshakes.
Really, I should have realised that when Jenny stopped screaming and waving the Elder Sign at me when I took my shirt off, but it's nice to have it scientifically corroborated.
Other things from the weekend include the discovery that Jenny starts to vibrate up to two mintues before Alan Rickman or George Clooney appear on screen, her feminine instincts for such things obviously being highly developed, going for long walks wearing socks with holes in the heel leads to me developing blisters, and my fathers shift into a state of being wherein I didn't want to murder him was but a temporary abberation.
